Week 3: Devils give Taroona the Blues

Well, how about that! Saying that today's game was a draw doesn't give you any idea of what a cracking contest it was against tough opponents. West Hobart had some great attacking runs, especially from Bella, while the backs were unbeatable. Alice Cox's mighty boot drove back Taroona's attacks but top marks go to Bijou for saving a certain goal, sweeping across the square to kick the ball clear.

Week 2: Devils zap Matildas, 1-0

Today the girls played hard against a strong team - the Lenah Valley Matildas - and won by a goal. What a difference a week made...

Last week's season debut match pitted the Devils, in new red tops, against Princes Street. Two unlucky incidents in goal let Princes Street win that one, but today the Devils looked like a new team with their fast, skilful, attacking play.

The next game is against Taroona Blue at West Hobart oval (Lansdowne Crescent) on Sat 26 April. Match begins at 11AM so be there by 10:45.
